A summer collection in three men’s and women’s options that focuses on themes of sustainability and social responsibility

Camper has banded together with the Ethical Fashion Initiative to promote a collaboration that brings together decades of shoemaking expertise and the richness of African techniques and materials. It is a long-term project that will keep Camper committed to producing capsule collections made by people living in poverty. A mutual exchange that this year has resulted in a limited-edition collection produced by Ethiopian artisans, who bring a modern twist to traditional African aesthetics.

The products from the Camper – EFI collaboration, which are only available at selected stores and on the Camper website, stand out for their careful attention to sustainability. In fact the project helps the local people to improve access to employment, knowledge and skills typical of the footwear industry. The Ethical Fashion Initiative is a flagship program of the International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation. Its goal is to empower micro-producers in developing countries by connecting them with the top fashion brands.
