Milan has returned as the leading protagonist of business and innovation in the fashion industry with a new physical edition of MICAM, the International Trade Fair of Footwear, MIPEL, the International leather and fashion accessories event, THE ONE MILANO, the Haute-à-Porter exhibition, and HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition, the event dedicated to fashion jewellery and accessories. Altogether, over the course of five days of exhibition, 29,468 Italian and international professional visitors participated in Fiera Milano Rho Exhibition centre, thereby confirming there is strength in numbers and that together it is possible to build a united front in facing the difficult international situation. United by the claim #BetterTogether, the events, supported by ICE (the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade and the Internationalization of Italian companies), presented the exhibition offering par excellence of over 1400 brands, with a focus on the footwear and leather goods belonging to the Fall-Winter 22/23 fashion season.

The events, starting from Micam and Mipel, were also an irreplaceable moment for taking an in-depth look at the most relevant themes for the fashion industry, thanks to a full calendar of events and initiatives centred around the themes of sustainability and slow fashion, digitalisation, the metaverse, and new ways of approaching retail, which is increasingly connected to big data.

The next rendezvous with the four shows will be renewed in September 2022, with the presentation of the Spring-Summer season.
