This will be the eighth edition for Youte Festival, the fair scheduled from 31 May to 2 June 2024 in Caravaca de la Cruz, in the Murcia region, the ‘cradle’ of the famous Alpargatas models (the ancient name was Cartago Espartaria, from where the name Espadrilles originates), the pride and expression of a tradition of over 500 years of this particular footwear that is typical of Spain, but known and loved all over the world. On show will be the new SS 2025 collection, with the possibility for visitors to also purchase individual pairs.

The event was presented on 7 May to the national and international trade press and television by the president of the local Calzia Association – Juan Romero – and the general manager – Salvador Gomez – in the presence also of the mayor of the city of Caravaca de la Cruz. A press trip was also organised for the occasion, with a visit to the factories of Murcia, a region that is a source of pride for the whole of Spain, the expression of a unique and high quality production, appreciated above all in the south of the United States and in Mediterranean Europe.

Youte Festival will therefore be an important opportunity for those working in the footwear sector to get to know and discover the new and colourful production of Alpargatas and to enjoy the tradition, culture and history of the beautiful city of Caravaca de la Cruz.
