Nitro S3
The newly conceived NITRO S3 shares many of its features with the bestselling SPARCO® model named Practice. Although, the same sole is used, the shape and components are different when it comes to the design of the upper and the use of different materials. Practice is lightweight, breathable, and designed for intensive indoor use: with a colourful and striking style, it is the ideal footwear also for leisure time, thanks to its characteristic comfort. In NITRO, the special features of the Practice shoe are joined by the addition of a high quality microfiber layer with dynamic resistance to penetration by water, making it especially suitable to outdoor use where there is the risk of rain, or indoor use where there is the risk of coming into contact with liquids (it is in fact S3 certified).

SPARCO® was founded in 1977 from the passion and vision of two Rally racing enthusiasts, who wanted to contribute to the world of motorcycle and car races with their safety products, also in reply to stricter regulations introduced by the FIA Fédération Internationel de l’Automobile, regarding the technical equipment of pilots and the outfitting of vehicles.

Practice
This is how in ’78 its laboratories conceived the very first fireproof racing suit, while in 1983, SPARCO® equipped Nelson Piquet with a racing suit in the Formula 1 races and won the championship alongside him. In 1990, it entered the world of tuning with a series of products for the personalization of cars. In 1999, it debuted with Supercar in the OEM sector, producing carbon components for the automotive industry. Finally, in 2009, with the entry of a new management team into the company, it changed philosophy, with safety and style becoming the trademark of the SPARCO® brand.

Although motorsports remain the core business of the company, the initiatives tying SPARCO® into other worlds are numerous. The experience acquired to date of this company from Volpiano in composite materials and fireproof materials and its know-how that is envied around the world have allowed SPARCO® to present itself in several other fields – like that of safety footwear, with the motto “Safety First”, which is always a part of the SPARCO® mind set.

Today, SPARCO® is a brand with a solid reputation worldwide, a sales revenue of 65 million euros (in 2015), 800 employees, with half of them in Italy, a subsidiary in Tunisia, and 2 sales offices in Irvine, California. Present in 80 countries worldwide, it supplies more than 300 leading race teams that participate internationally in all the main championships.
