The Louis Vuitton site-specific runway show held at the Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul de Vence, Nice, this past Monday 28 May, saw apparel and footwear volumes proposed alongside the artistic works of Alexandre Calder, George Braque, and Fernand Léger hosted by the structure. Especially admired by the public was the impressive footwear developed on the by now iconic architectural soles already used in Archlight sneakers. “Sneakers that meet leggings”, giving life to thigh-high boots of great appeal, boots with a retro-futuristic spirit, and hi-cut sneakers that perfect the look of this experimental collection characterised by geometric and sculpted volumes.
