The brand with sailing in its DNA proposes an exclusive preview of some of the items from its collection, which will be launched at the next edition of Pitti Uomo, where the brand will exhibit in the I Play section of the Cavaniglia pavilion.

As indicated by the title, the new SS 2018 collection invites lovers of the brand to undertake an adventuresome journey that is kicked off in Wild Africa, continuing across deep marine seabeds, to then end up in the heart of the tropics.  An endless journey that Voile Blanche begins through renewed details and materials:  rustic linen fabrics and jute mixed with honeycomb weaves; palm and algae motifs transformed into abstract graphics and indecipherable textures; meshes covering floral designs; pastel colours and bright flashes; and plastic and vegetable fibres with glossy surfaces that become the canvas for pop-style graphic prints.

The collection also includes ultralight running shoes in plastic transparent materials, with neutral whites and black interrupted by the flash of florescent red, graphic bands with adhesive strip appliqués, and coatings and surprising rubber elements.  Moreover, we find futuristic details like metallic film, precious encrustations, chromatic and patent leather surfaces, glass effects, and gloss inserts…  

The most colourful part of the new collection reinterprets antique symbols in a futuristic version and proposes sneakers with spongy and rubbery surfaces, chewing-gum effects, and polyurethane foams in a patchwork of materials and rainbow colours… a mix of cultural and temporal references that will be a hit among the most non-conformist clientele of the brand.

The palette features natural nuances, from straw to leather, brown and cocoa, to ink, which are diluted by white and lit up by bronze and the metallic flashes of night blue.  Marine tones are divided up between navy blue and aquamarine greens, which are always matched with ever-present white.
