Footglove Earth Sustainable Shoes are the first range of sustainable footwear by Marks & Spencer. The jewel in the crown of the British department store’s philosophy of respect for the environment, this casual footwear range is made almost entirely of recycled materials. The footwear is composed of a sole made of 35% natural rubber and 10% rice husks. The internal reinforcements are made of PET from recycled bottles, the stitching is made of 100% recycled polyester thread, whilst the internal lining is composed of 57% recycled coffee grounds. Furthermore, the leathers are certified as eco-friendly, the adhesives are all water-based and the padding is made of 70% recycled PU foam, ensuring maximum breathability, non-toxicity and comfort.
