Inspired by an iconic model of the Tuscan maison, the legendary Rainbow sandal, the collection proposes a men’s sneaker, women’s sneaker, backpack, and shopping bag, all of which are characterised by rainbow stripes and the metallic “Gancini” hallmark accessory of the brand.

Behind the design are the two designers Flavia Corridori and Luciano Dimotta, who won an in-house contest in the company, which set down the challenge of creating a collection “with sustainable materials that in any case adhere to the iconic style of the brand”.

The capsule collection is called 42 degrees, because if the sun’s light hits water droplets at this inclination the result is the extraordinary optic phenomenon of a colourful rainbow.
