red bull k3Take ten Eiffel Towers and stack them one on top of the other, then imagine you have to run all the way up to the tenth tower, without stopping, in a temperature of approximately 30 degrees. This is the challenge that the Red Bull K3 athletes had to face: a 3035-metre vertical run of just under 10 kilometres (9.7 km to be precise), from the historic centre of Susa (at 503 metres), all the way to the top of Rocciamelone, at an altitude of 3538 meters.

The Red Bull K3 is the vertical race of the moment on the world scene. The ‘Triple Vertical KM’ attracted over 300 participants from every corner of the world, who all started off in the centre of the Piedmont town in an attempt to reach the finishing line, tackling a course where the characteristics and difficulty level makes this competition one of the most gruelling and spectacular events on the international scene.
