The main aim of the reorganisation, which was decided upon this past 18 July by Pitti Immagine’s Board of Directors, is to “provide the best structure for tackling all future challenges, while strengthening the position of international leadership acquired over the last ten years, as a source of great opportunities for development – declared Claudio Marenzi, President of Pitti Immagine – from the management of an especially complex economic phase for the fashion system on an international level, to managing the effects that important public works destined to change the face of the city and the Fortezza da Basso have on the trade fair’s activities. The goal is to strengthen the firm, making the operational structure even more efficient, to enhance the roles and competencies of senior management, and finally, to encourage internal growth”.
