The trade fair dedicated to the latest innovations in the outdoor sector will be kicked off this year a month earlier than previous editions: in fact, the fair reserved for industry visitors is scheduled from Sunday, 18 June, to Wednesday, 21 June, in Friedrichshafen.
The leading businesses present on the international market accordingly confirmed their participation at what is now the 24th edition of the event to be held at Lake Constance. A number of new changes will characterize this edition: “The enormous turnout, which will feature 965 exhibitors coming from 40 nations, will once again make OutDoor the perfect platform for discovering the latest products for the new season”, confirms the Director of the fair, Klaus Wellmann.
“The outdoor market continues to evolve and open up to an increasing number of new sectors, thus reaching a wider target group. At this edition of OutDoor 2017, we would also like to contribute to this development with the innovative project ‘OutDoor Plus’. With the expansion of the themed areas, we will reinforce the synergies between outdoor and other sectors”, explains the Head of OutDoor Stefan Reisinger.
The “Lifestyle Collection” area in Hall A6 will host the trends of athleisure wear, presenting to sector operators the trends for metropolitan adventures from the worlds of apparel, footwear, and accessories, in all of their many forms.
Next appointments for OutDoor fair
The dates for the next editions have already been set and are scheduled from 17 to 20 June in 2018, and from 23 to 26 June in 2019.
