Important steps are being taken towards what will be an extremely positive edition of the fairs organised by IFEMA and dedicated to apparel (MOMAD Metrópolis) and footwear (MOMAD Shoes). The fairs, for the first time with  Charo Izquierdo as Director, will be dedicated to previews of the collections for Spring/Summer 2019 and re-stockings for Autumn/Winter 2018/2019.

Now in its sixth edition, Momad Metropolis confirms its role as the event of reference for fashion on the Iberian Peninsula, with almost 750 brands, which will be reunited in Halls 2, 12 and 14 of Feria de Madrid, having already confirmed their participation.

To the benefit of professional visitors, the offering of the show is divided according to the type of product – from party wear to urban, casual, contemporary, menswear and swimwear, right up to ‘high-end’ names in ‘Espacio Metro’, as well as large sizes.

Top brands at the up-and-coming edition will include Hannibal Laguna, Veneno en la Piel, Javier Simorra, Airfield, Marea Baja, Charo Azcona, Pepaloves, Swim Days Moda Baño, The Extreme Collection, Scripta, Zanetti, Slow Fashion Next, NKN Nekane, Blue Les Copains , French Connection, Parafina, Maltessa, Meisïe, Brave Soul, Van Dos, Victoria, Kontessa, Lion of Porches, Lauren Vidal, Melé Beach, Yaya, Stella rittwagen, DK Company group, Mercedes Escolá, Fyord, Alba Conde, Oky, Almatrichi , Tiffosi, Viriato, Ana Pallarés, Vidorreta, Jeans BSB, Maria José Suárez, Tiempo de Costura, Picco canadese, Koala Bay, CLP Celop and SPG Jenuan.

As usual, this edition of MOMAD Metrópolis will once again host the area dedicated to sustainable fashion, called ‘Sustainable Experience’, with the participation of 40 eco-friendly companies coming from different markets – from footwear to eyewear, and from leather goods to swimwear.

At the same time, there will be an area dedicated to digital solutions for the fashion industry, realised in collaboration with Adigital (the Digital Economy Association), and enriched by specific talks on this subject.

Among the parallel activities taking place in conjunction with the fairs, will be various fashion shows and a programme of conferences and presentations taking place in the MOMAD forum.
