“Look, listen, touch”: a fascinating sensorial pathway depicts the bag for the coming Fall/Winter 2018-19 season. A sensual setting for the very best possible presentation of the selection belonging to the 113th Mipel TheBagShow, the most important international event dedicated to leather goods and fashion accessories on show from 11 to 14 February at FieraMilano.

Inspired by the outer tubular architecture of the Pompidou Center as well as the visionary works of artist Yayoi Kusama, the setting is designed by the creative director Matteo Zara, who conceived three perceptual pathways dedicated to vision, hearing and touch, with the intent of creating an engaging working environment for businesses and buyers, which is capable of stimulating feelings and emotions. unknown-6visita2

Next to the new setting, there is also the renewal of the event’s special exhibition areas: The Glamourous and Scenario sections, which act as an innovative meeting point between supply and demand at the fair, renewing their offering after the success of the previous editions. As far as the contents are concerned, Glamorous, with the sponsorship of the Italian Chamber of Fashion Buyers, will present a selection of 4 designers “adopted” by the same number of select buyers, who will give visibility to their collections also in the windows of their stores. More alternative is the proposal of Scenario, which with this edition of Mipel reinforces its collaboration with the National Chamber for Italian Fashion, promoting the matching between Italian creativity and foreign markets, while asking four international buyers to sponsor the most interesting new Italian designers.

Mipel does not enjoy being limited to its four walls, and so outside of the fair, its appointments with the city of Milan are renewed through a series of cultural initiatives sponsored by the City of Milan.scenario-1
