sfilata-comme-des-garcons-_photo-credits-indigital-tv_-1A second step has been taken in the creative collaboration between the Brazilian brand of deluxe jelly shoes, Melissa, and the brand of Japanese apparel, Comme des Garçons. After the debut of shoes meant to accentuate the look of women on the SS 2018 runway, there is now the launching of the sneaker Melissa+Comme des Garçons at the Paris Men’s Fashion Week show.

Striking and modern, the new sneaker is made from recyclable PVC, in line with the cruelty-free philosophy shared by both brands, and with a special single-piece production. Like all other Melissa creations, the new line is 100% Real Plastic certified, thus reinforcing the concept that all the products and materials used are completely recyclable. Through a completely animal-free production chain, Melissa guarantees that none of its finishing processes uses derivatives of animal origin.

Incorporating the unique and completely modern look of Melissa into the universe of Comme des Garçons in order to create shoes that are genuinely collectable was a natural consequence”.
