Its strength lies in its footwear entirely made out of leather, from the upper to the insole, which is conceived with the aim of providing the foot with maximum comfort both at home and outdoors. This is the calling card SOGEX s.r.l. uses to introduce itself at Micam as an exhibitor for the first time with its brands “ Maria Moda 1942” and “ Sogex 1965”, ready to conquer greater recognition at what is considered the most important showcase in the world for footwear.

The brands were first created by Emanuele Toso, thanks to his long-time experience matured in the field of footwear, which dates back to 1986. Working side-by-side with him right from the start was his mother Maria, from which the brand “Maria Moda 1942” takes its name, who collaborates in the selection of materials, and the development of samples and the line of models, which are always imprinted by a combination of aesthetics and comfort. This means priority is given over to a use of high quality materials like leather, which is coupled, for example, with elastic inserts and Velcro in the upper and with memory foam in the insoles to guarantee maximum comfort, with constant attention to each and every detail: features that in almost no time at all made the brand successful on international markets that now represent 80% of its turnover, while today the brand is also focused on strengthening its presence in the Italian market. More recently, the company’s “Sogex 1965” brand was launched for the company’s comfort lines of men’s and women’s footwear.

For all the above reasons, the company has decided to reinforce its participation in the leading trade fairs dedicated to footwear, exhibiting not only at Expo Riva Schuh in Riva del Garda, but also at Micam in Milan, where it will present the new SS 2019 collection of feminine and masculine sandals, alongside its various men’s and women’s slippers for home use, with the two brands of SOGEX s.r.l. undertaking a wide variety of production processes for their realisation.
