At the starting line is the first edition of ShoesRoom by Momad, organised by IFEMA in collaboration with FICE (Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries), and scheduled from 1 to 3 March 2019 in the striking post-industrial location in Madrid of La Vela, the former Boetticher factory.
Proof of the trust placed by the sector in the new professional event dedicated to quality Spanish footwear is the participation of important brands of the calibre of Unisa, Gioseppo, Jaime Mascaró, Exé, and Chie Mihara, but also Sison, Alma de Candela, Gaimo or Vitelo, along with other companies that have attended previous IFEMA Footwear events, such as Azarey, Vidorreta, Pons Quintana, United Nude, Arche, Som.mits, Kayakstorms, Aerobica and NeroGiardini.
Not only is the striking and trendy choice of location very different from traditional trade fair venues, but also the special format demonstrates the desire of the new event to stand out on the trade fair panorama and to present itself in an innovative way. ShoesRoom by Momad in fact is set up with a unique showroom format, which offers the advantage of highlighting the presentation of new products and new collections, making it easier for buyers to visit the fair and make their purchases, while also reducing the costs of participation for companies.
Among the focuses of the new event, alongside innovation, we will certainly find important future sector trends like sustainability, but also the promotion of Made in Spain both nationally and in international markets. This is made possible thanks to the strengthening of relations with buyers and the organization of an ambitious programme for attracting international buyers, realised in collaboration with the ICEX Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade, with a special focus on important stores and chains of international distribution.
