The Igedo Company – short for Interessengemeinschaft Damenoberbekleidung (Community of Interests for Women’s Outerwear) – is famed in the world as the organiser of fashion trade shows in the Eastern Europe.

It was established in 1949 by Willi Kronen, launched the first Düsseldorf sales week in March of the same year in the historic Ehrenhof site.
Just one season later, the second edition generated turnover worth millions and catwalk shows were held at Königsallee for the first time.

In 1965 Willi Kronen's son, Manfred joined the company.

At the end of the 1960s, 1'000 exhibitors take place at the Düsseldorf fashion week and the event become more international allowing the Rhine's fashion city to grow up alongside Paris and Milan.

In the 90s the company expanded into many international markets such as Hong Kong, Shanghai or Great Britain and in 2003 was launched the fashion trade show which is now the biggest one in Eastern Europe, the CPMCollection Première Moscow. Five years later, Philipp Kronen from the next geration to Manfred Kronen, joined the Igedo Company as manager partner.

In 2012 the concept of the CPDCollection Première Düsseldorf – was changed with the launch of THE GALLERY Düsseldorf. This trade fair went down extremely well with the retail trade and now is dealing with a significant growth and the need of a new location that was found in 2016 at Areal Böhler.
