For 19 editions, as of September 2008, the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has brought MICAM, a group of Japanese shoe manufacturers, to the Milan fair.

A unique opportunity to meet and learn know-how, high quality and the sophisticated design of Japanese footwear.

This was also the case during the last September edition, where brands like Rolling Dub Trio, Chaka, Sangacio Japan, Mythography, Yale+No.88 and Johnny & Jessy took part in the renowned international event.

Particularly interesting was Johnny & Jessy’s proposal, who brought to the fair their ‘as comfortable as a slipper’ shoe, which was original and surprising like a high creativity game. The models can, in fact, change style in a flash by replacing the upper with a simple zip mechanism. From sandal to sneaker, from espadrille to elegant shoe, in order to achieve an unlimited originality.
