Important structural changes will interest the near future of the Igedo Company in Düsseldorf.  During the last meeting of the Messe Düsseldorf GmbH’s board of directors, in fact, it was decided that as of 30 September 2017, the Igedo Company, which is a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, will transfer ownership of the show Collection Première Moscow (CPM) to the Russian subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow OOO.

Collection Premiere Moscow was first held in 2003, as a joint collaboration between the Igedo Company, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, and Messe Düsseldorf Moscow OOO. Since then, it has become the largest and most important fashion trade fair for the Eastern European region.

At the same time, the board of directors decided to sell all shares held by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH in the Igedo Company to its second largest shareholder, Philip Kronen, who commented:  “Today, I am happy and sad at the same time!  On the one hand, I am pleased that the Igedo Company is once again becoming a 100% family business.  On the other hand, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH was and still is a great partner.  However now it is important to look ahead and to successfully organise trade fairs in Düsseldorf for the clothing and footwear sector.  It is obvious however that I am looking forward to organizing CPM in Moscow on behalf of our Messe Düsseldorf Moscow OOO colleagues”.
