The historic brand of Italian luxury footwear first created in 1956, which today belongs to the portfolio of the Milan-based group of GC Holding, relaunches the brand, while also releasing a memoir in celebration of its first 60 years of history and heritage “that can only be compared to luxury labels like Ferragamo and Gucci”.

From the store in via Manzoni, Milan, to the one located in the Roman street of via Condotti, Fragiacomo has always been a hit with celebrities and the V.I.P. crowd – including actors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the world of art and culture—carving out a place of honor for itself in the most prestigious fashion magazines and in the halls of the MET in New York. An illustrious history that finally today is told through a volume edited by Giusy Ferrè and Federico Poletti, with the images of its icon shoes featured in the pictures taken by Fabrizio Sclavi. A starting point for relaunching the label, which has been entrusted to the CEO Federico Pozzi Chiesa, who followed the opening of the boutique in via Turati in 2013, and in via Montenapoleone, Milan and via delle Carrozze, Rome in 2015:

Within 2017, we will also have opened a store in Teheran with a partner, and we will then focus our efforts on Europe, – explains Pozzi Chiesa – the aim is to provide a boost to wholesale distribution while remaining selective, so we can conquer special areas inside boutiques, like we did with Banner in Milan, which dedicated a store window to us highlighting our 60th anniversary shoe.
