The new Italian brand Fanga combines handmade tradition with refined and unostentatious luxury

fanga_02Personality and history unite design and craftsmanship: these are the values of the new men’s footwear brand, founded a year and a half ago by two young Bolognese entrepreneurs, Lorenzo Fusina and Bruno Riffeser Monti. A luxury made of age-old traditions (Fanga in Bolognese dialect means “shoe”) and the emotions that only a shoe made by the hands of expert craftsmen can express. It takes 5 weeks to make a pair of Fanga shoes, they can only be purchased by order and each shoe is unique, with the finest leathers, Goodyear processing and incomparable details.

“The gold foil in the heel is created specifically for each shoe. Our customers can choose what they want to have engraved on it. We like to interpret and meet the needs of customers. For us, creating our shoes is a shared experience”

they proudly told us at the brand’s international ‘premiere’ at the latest Pitti Uomo. Fanga redevelops a manufacturing culture through a young and contemporary vision, giving life to a range of high quality classic footwear with prestigious all-Italian quality, completely handmade and with an unmistakable charm.
