While the private investment firm intends to invest in all the business aspects to increase the productivity and profit margin of the Dr. Scholl’s brand, the pharmaceutical company will use the funds of the operation to pay off the many lawsuits filed against it for the alleged cancer-causing effect of its Roundup weed killer produced by Monsanto.
