Expo Riva Schuh gets ready to kick off its 90th edition, celebrating its past, while looking ahead to the challenges of the future.

expo-riva-6Over the last 45 years, the Riva event has come a long way: from a simple meeting point between representatives and buyers from the world of shoes vacationing in the Lake Garda area, it has gradually been transformed into an extraordinary showcase for all the world’s main production areas. For its anniversary edition, Expo Riva Schuh will once again present itself with a selection of 1,400 plus exhibitors coming from more than 40 different countries, while confirming the participation of collectives from China, India, and Brazil. In terms of demand, instead, around 13 thousand visitors are forecasted, together with buyers from the markets visited during the Expo Riva Schuh Around the World promotional tour, which will include France and Vietnam.

As always, many new contents have been created to favour business and support international market trends. First and foremost is the selection, with the Spring-Summer 2019 collections and the previous season’s re-assortments as its protagonists: an offering created to satisfy to the different needs of buyers present at Riva del Garda, including that of fast fashion, which is proving itself to be a success in the fashion industry.expo-riva-8

expo-riva-7There will also be the chance to speak of current dynamics affecting international footwear markets at the inaugural event, which will see the participation of sector experts.

Finally, the 90th edition will see the debut of Gardabags, a new exhibition project dedicated to the world of bags and leather goods, which will be the protagonist of PalaVela, the new structure located on the lakefront and directly connected to the Riva del Garda Congress Centre, the historic venue of Expo Riva Schuh. This project will perfectly complement the Expo Riva Schuh merchandise offering, with the aim of responding to the market’s increasing demand for total look solutions, through the selection proposed by exhibitors from Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, China and India.
