The N3M project is launched focused on glam rock footwear for both him and her.

N3M stands for “Noi Tre (a) Milano” (We Three in Milan). One roman, one emilian and one norman: two designers and an expert in finance and international markets. None of them was actually born in Milan but this is the city where they all met and here the project was launched, a brand of footwear totally free of the gender concept. «The basic idea is to satisfy a new market demand by creating the kind of footwear that with its particular style can appeal to both him and her» – explain the three friends. All the models come in a full range of sizes, espousing the idea of cross-hybrid that deliberately ignores masculine/feminine limits.

 

The innovative project, launched at the latest edition of Pitti Uomo in June, certainly interprets the spirit of the times with footwear of strong character, made in Italy from high quality materials. But what exactly is the style? «Its a transversal taste ranging from nerdy to glam and rock». In the first collection designed for S/S ‘16 the British-type models feature round toes and solid, welted soles. «In actual fact we start from basics such as loafers, brogues, Chelsea boots and update them through materials and trendy colour combinations to give that twist which makes all the difference» – they say.

The artisan production highlights skilled craftsmanship. Sales targets? «The most exigent markets like Europe, Japan and the United States where there exist this type of consumer as well as a strong product culture».
