Among the many new proposals of Base Protection at the next edition of A+A 2017 is a new line fitted with the brand’s patented innovative technology dedicated to improving the comfort of workers. We will see it in a preview at the fair: a state-of-the-art safety shoe conceived for maximum shock absorption, dissipation of energy along the heel, and the adaptability of the sole to different kinds of terrain, as well as to differing body weights, in order to reduce the risk of painful sprains. However, it is also sporty, colourful, and youthful at the same time.

In Germany, there will be a preview of the models of the Classic Plus line, which are fitted with the Boa Closure System®, offering practicality, an easy fit, and safety when fastening.

The partnership with Boa Technology joins the already existing one with OutDry® for the production of waterproof work shoes. The OutDry® membrane, heat-sealed directly onto the upper, is a breathable waterproof barrier made from one whole piece of material, without seams, holes, or other areas that might allow water to penetrate. The performance of this solution is reinforced by the application of LifePlus technology, designed by Base Protection for acting against the wear-and-tear resulting from liquids, thus prolonging the lifetime of the shoe.

The mission of the company has always been that of designing comfortable work shoes for all work environments, including the most extreme ones, while investing important resources in technological innovation. That which will be presented at Düsseldorf is the third Base Protection patented technology, preceded only by the Tpu-Skin® anti-fatigue sole and Dry’n Air® system for keeping feet dry. The Research & Development department of the brand constantly strives to design new solutions for improving the level of comfort and safety. Two aspects that are very closely connected: more comfort in fact is equal to greater safety, because a worker operating in comfortable conditions is less tired, more focused, and quicker to react when dangerous situations arise. In just a few years’ time, this idea has seen the company become a leading reality on the international safety panorama.
