Organised by Pozitif Fairs in collaboration with TASD, the Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey, and witaymodppk_2304h the support of TASEV, the Turkey Shoe Sector Research Development and Training Foundation, and KOSGEB, Aymod is making preparations for the launching of its 62nd edition. The spaces of the CNR Expo will accordingly host 450 international companies with 1000 brands and a public of 30 thousand visitors, including 5,000 professional buyers coming from 60 different countries.

Aymod is held in Istanbul, a city that claims a thousand-year-old tradition in trade and which to this day continues to play a critical role in the movement of goods, thanks to its advantageous positioning between three continents. Istanbul is in fact responsible for 43% of the country’s exports, a percentage that rises to 67% when considering the exports generated by the fairs organised in the city.  aymod-ppk_2240

Just as important is the Turkish footwear manufacturing tradition, which has carved out a role of primary importance for itself on international markets, thanks to the quality of its products and services, aymod-ppk_2355along with its competitive prices. Today, Turkey is the seventh largest producer of footwear worldwide, with over 400 million pairs produced, and is the fifth exporter on a global level, with over 222 million pairs destined for three continents (source: Footwear Yearbook 2018).

Aymod operators will accordingly know how to make the most of the fair’s two main advantages – it’s ability to offer business opportunities in a context conducive to negotiations and in contact with a footwear industry that is prepared to provide quality products and personalised collections for international buyers. Both of these factors will be key to achieving positive results at the next new edition.
