In 2017, Adidas had presented three new versions of Ultra-Boost in recycled plastic: each model reuses 11 plastic bottles, which are then transformed into a polymer that can be used to construct knit footwear. The upper, straps, heeling lining, and sock liner covers are all made from this innovative material that protects the world’s oceans.
